Part-Time or Full-Time Pediatric Advice Nurse
We’re growing and need another outstanding, compassionate advice nurse to join our team. If you’re a highly motivated and experienced nurse with a deep love for children and an appreciation for the practical nuances of childhood growth and development, then Senders Pediatrics may be a great home for you.
Our advice nurses practice nursing via the telephone utilizing the nursing process, input from physicians, and the organization’s approved nursing guidelines and protocols. This position requires an outstanding listener and communicator, both in writing and speaking. We are seeking candidates with a demonstrated high skill level in creative problem solving, setting priorities, and the ability to use these skills in a fast-paced environment where the nature of patient inquiries is often unpredictable. Superb customer service and people skills, and a desire to collaborate and partner with other team members in the office are critical to this position’s success.
Eligible candidates must have a current RN license and be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Position requires at least 2 years of practical nursing experience, preferably in an emergency room, ambulatory or outpatient setting. Candidates must be computer proficient and capable of using an electronic medical record.
A caring, holistic alternative
We started Senders Pediatrics twenty-eight years ago to offer families a caring, holistic alternative to impersonal pediatric offices. From the way we introduce our providers to families, to the life-size, fully functional tree house in our lobby, Senders truly stands out from its competition.
Cutting edge services
A key differentiator in our practice is the unique parenting, research, education, breastfeeding medicine and literacy programs we offer. Our families place significant value on these services, and view our practice as their “go to” solution for all things parenting related.
Our office of six pediatricians and five nurse practitioners has a collegial feel, and we often collaborate to provide outstanding care to our patients, who range in age from birth to 24. Our staff have outstanding communication skills and a desire to go the extra mile for patients, which is essential to the exceptional care we’re known for.
