We are the only pediatric practice in town with onsite lactation consulting services during the week as well as on weekends. Our certified lactation consultants (LCs) have years of experience in helping nursing mothers make the transition to a successful breastfeeding experience. Our LCs work with all first time nursing mothers on day 2-3 of life, to insure that the latch and the suck are coordinated, that positioning is correct and that pain is minimized. They will help you physically as well as emotionally, be the type of nursing mother that you always envisioned.

Children who have sustained any type of head injury, minor or major, were two times more likely to sustain a similar injury within 12 months. Whatever the reason, if your child has had a concussion or similar head injury, take efforts to monitor them more closely over the ensuing year.

My irritation "button" is most easily pushed when my child:

A. ignores me when I’m telling him/her what to do.
B. whines and complains.
C. fights with a sibling.
D. talks back or acts rude.
