Welcome to an exciting and innovative pediatric practice that cares for families one child at a time.

We designed Senders Pediatrics with the idea that children and their families could receive high quality comprehensive health care services in one place at one time outside of the walls of a large institution.  It is a place where pediatric health care providers offer the same expertise, depth and breadth of service, without the inconveniences larger systems may create.

We created Senders Pediatrics to be a safe and fun place for children and their families to find high quality health care.  The lobby houses a two story tree house and has a separate waiting room equipped with computers for teens.  Each exam room has its own age specific décor, books and toys that make visits fun and more comfortable for everyone.

Teenagers have unique concerns and health care needs. Yet, a recent study revealed that most pediatricians feel uncomfortable with teens and discourage their participation in their practices. We practice adolescent medicine and have designed separate exam rooms just for teens and young adults.  We have pioneered the care of children from cradle through college, extending the traditional boundaries of pediatric care to age 23 years, by treating kids right where they are and providing an environment for their specific needs.

Please talk with us about your concerns!  We are open seven days a week to be available to the children and families who need us.  We take pride in the fact that our way of caring for children makes it possible for us to “figure kids out”.

We recently celebrated 20 years in practice!  We started in rented space with a few folding chairs, an exam room and one employee to answer the phones and give vaccinations.  We have since grown into a well respected health care facility which has established expertise in clinical pediatric care, pediatric research and literacy. In addition to Senders Pediatrics, our clinical arm, we provide ancillary services including Senders Pediatric Research, Breast Feeding Medicine of Northeast Ohio, Senders Educational Consulting and Senders Parenting Center.
